As previously publicised, on the morning of Saturday 12th February 2022 the Board of Angling Scotland Ltd (ASL) hosted a focused Seminar, ‘A combined future for Angling’
The event brought together a panel of members from the three angling sport governing bodies (SGBs), the Scottish Anglers National Association Ltd (SANA), Scottish Federation for Coarse Angling (SFCA) and Scottish Federation of Sea Anglers (SFSA), to deliver presentations and take questions from a virtual audience comprising clubs, individual members, partner organisations and other stakeholder bodies
The aim of the day was to both set the scene and provide an update on progress with Angling Scotland; ensuring that everyone has a good understanding of where we are, where we intend to get to and why, and to develop proposals to put to the upcoming individual SGB AGMs to allow us to move to the next stage in April 2023.
The full event was filmed and has now been made available on YouTube in order to reach as many anglers as possible, and provide the opportunity to not only listen to the proposals, but to contribute by asking questions and voicing any concerns. The video can be accessed by clicking the link below and we would urge everyone to take time to watch the presentations and then engage with us and have your say:
Once you have watched the video we would love hear from you. If you have any questions please email them to info@sfca.co.uk and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
