Chair

Alison Baker
Chair

Alison brings a wealth of professional and voluntary management experience to the role of Chair of Angling Scotland Ltd. She is looking forward to meeting, or renewing acquaintances, with the key players in Coarse, Sea and Game angling, working with the individual Sport Governing Bodies, sportscotland, the Scottish Government and the wider Scottish angling community to help drive Angling Scotland forward, grow participation and membership and protect the future of our sport.

Gus Brindle
Scottish Federation for Coarse Angling

Gus has been fishing since he was 8 years old when he was taught to cast a fly by his grandfather. 

Several family moves as a child and a long mobile Army career have seen him become passionate about all disciplines of angling and he fishes competitively in Game, Coarse and Sea Angling. 

He is currently the Scotland Senior National Team Coach.

Mike Horn
Scottish Federation of Sea Anglers

Mike is a lifelong angler with angling being more of an obsession rather than his sport.

He is the longest serving president of the SFSA as well as being a coach and member of the national team.

His fishing is mainly competitive from matches all over the country and locally with East Fife club

Andy Macgregor
Marketing and Communications

Andy is the founder of CARPdiem Magazine, established in Spain. He produced three acclaimed television series for Canal+ that combined fishing, travel, and culture. For over a decade, Andy captained the Spanish Carp Team at the World Carp Classic, consistently leading them to podium finishes. Now based in Scotland, he is focused on exploring and fishing for trout, pike, and perch while actively guiding and promoting the growth of the sport.
