Boat of Turtory and Ardmeallie are two separate beats eight miles downstream of Huntly, each accommodating two rods, within Ardmeallie Estate.

Ardmeallie is on the left bank whilst Boat of Turtory is on the right. There are two sections to the Ardmeallie, with the Church of Scotland having a pool dividing the two.

Ardmeallie (one mile long with six named pools) is fished Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and Boat of Turtory (three quarters of a mile long with six named pools) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Fishing is by fly and spinning to the end of May.

It is fly only from June onwards unless the water is high and coloured when spinning is then allowed.
