Six miles downstream of Huntly, this is a quiet and tranquil beat, double banked and about one and a half miles long.

It is a six rod beat with 16 named pools, three fishing huts (with cooking facilities) and a boat to cross the river between them.

There is a seasonal ghillie who is on duty most of the time. Fishing is by fly and spinning to the end of May; thereafter it is fly only except in spate conditions when spinning is permitted.
