Horsbrugh
The Horsbrugh beat is on the north bank of the former association water at Cardrona.
The Association ceased in 2007 when the South bank was sold to a private syndicate and the Macdonald Cardrona Hotel took over the north bank.
The beat has always been a consistently productive stretch of the upper Tweed located in a very picturesque area of countryside.
Unfortunately, there are no accurate records of catches available, but given the right conditions, anglers have as good a chance as anywhere of connecting with a fish.
The majority of the pools are easily fished with easy access and parking nearby. A couple of pools are a little more challenging and not so suitable for the less able or inexperienced angler.
