Angling Scotland supports the development of draft Pathway Action Plans (PAPs) for Great Britain invasive non-native species (INNS). These plans aim to reduce the risk of harmful species spreading through key pathways such as recreational boating, angling, horticulture, zoos and aquaria, and the pet trade.

Invasive non-native species can cause serious damage to the environment, economy, and our way of life. The draft PAPs set out best-practice guidance and key actions for Government, agencies, businesses, clubs, and individuals.

We encourage everyone involved in angling and related activities to review the draft plans and share their views. Your feedback will help make the PAPs as effective as possible.
